How Natural Herbs Can Help Ease The Yearly Struggle of Allergies

Seasonal allergies alter people’s day to day lives when that time of year comes around. Many people combat the symptoms of allergies with over the counter medications. Stinging Nettle has high levels of Vitamin C and lowers inflammations which may ease hay fever, it also has reports of lower blood sugar as well. Rosemary has many medicinal uses and allergies are just one of the many. Rosemary helps with cold symptoms such as cold chills and headaches. It has also been said to be an antidepressant, circulatory stimulant, and a digestive remedy. Mullein Leaf targets dry coughs and throat inflammations, while giving a soothing and hydrating effect on the lungs with saponins that will loosen up mucus. Mullein Leaf also has been shown to ease the effect of COPD.

How to Use the Herbs

When using herbs there are many ways you can consume or use them. They can be used as a topical, or they can be cooked with or turned into essential oils. Most commonly with loose herbs they are turned into teas or tinctures.
