Ingredient:

3 Tbls Stinging Nettle 

2 Tbls Chamomile Flower

1 Tbls Echinacea 

1 Tbls Honey

(Makes roughly 3 cups of tea)

 

 

 

This herbal combo is great for when allergies start to affect your day to day life. Each of these herbs have properties to help fight against allergies, sinus infection along with much more. 

 

Stinging Nettle: Stinging Nettle has high levels of Vitamin C and lowers inflammations which may ease hay fever. Stinging nettle harbors a variety of compounds that may reduce inflammation.

 

Chamomile tea is known to have a calming effect and help prevent colds and other illnesses it has antioxidants, help with sleep, and anti-inflammatory properties Chamomile is sometimes called an “herbal aspirin” since it’s been a popular home remedy for lowering pain for centuries. Chamomile flowers are used alone or in combination with other anti-inflammatory foods to reduce pain, congestion, swelling and redness. 

Echinacea is best known for its beneficial effects on the immune system. Numerous older studies have found that this plant may help your immune system combat infections and viruses, which could help you recover faster from illness. Echinacea can help reduce excess inflammation. Echinacea plants are loaded with plant compounds that function as antioxidants.
