Mt Joy Organics was started in Redmond Oregon in 2018 and expanded to Southwest Virginia growing into Mt Joy Naturals in 2020. From the mountain tops of The Three sisters to the valleys of the Blue Ridge Mountains we are excited to provide our unique, quality oils and products with you and your family.

Why Mt. Joy Naturals Can’t Be Denied.
Have you ever heard of EOE? Eosinophilic Esophagitis is a chronic immune system disease that causes trouble swallowing leading to severe choking, chest pains, stomach and intestinal inflammation which leads to severe stomach pain and polyps, just to state a few of the symptoms. These reactions occur as a result of an accumulation of white blood cells (eosinophils) accumulating in response to acquired food allergies.
Sounds pretty black and white right, avoid the allergen and you can avoid the reaction. The problem is people with this autoimmune disease happen to have allergies to most of the top 8 food allergies. These include Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Soy, and Nuts. Think about that for a minute, think about trying to go out to eat with your family, think about trying to prepare a meal without these things being in any of the foods you are preparing, how about something as simple as a cookie. Now, in reality, this seems like a very time consuming, exhausting and almost impossible task. This is why we started The MT Joy Kitchen!
Here at Mt Joy Naturals We are on a mission to bring a little peace of mind to everyone looking to eliminate these allergens out of their diet. We have gone back generations, searching to find our favorite traditional family recipes to be able to alter them into things that everyone can enjoy.

1) Let’s start with our specially formulated Hemp protein powder flour blends. Hemp is a very High-Quality Vegan Protein that contains ALL nine Essential Amino Acids, Fiber, Omega 3,6, & 9. The amino acid profile of Hemp Protein is similar to egg whites and Soy! In general, plant proteins are usually hard for the body to break down, but research shows that Hemp protein is easily digestible because of special proteins. Expeller Cold Pressing
Expeller Cold Pressing is a unique process that’s friendly to the environment and your body. Our process requires no solvents, high heat, alcohol or chemicals for extraction, so there is never a chance of having any unwanted residue left over. This all natural process provides a safe and healthy product that enhances all the qualities nature intended. Cold pressing allows for 100% of the plant material to be used in a variety of different ways. The chemicals, alcohols and heat in other processes kill nutrients while altering plant molecules, these things yield an oil that is less superior. When a natural food product is exposed to a chemical process, it is no longer healthy or natural. Oils that have been extracted with through these methods have to be refined to in order to remove toxins. Refinement causes the natural taste, color, and aroma to be stripped away along with the benefits provided by nature. Expeller Cold Pressed oils are believed to have increased nutritional and health benefits
because the plants and seeds have never been exposed to alcohol or other harsh chemicals. Our oils retain their nutritional value, natural flavonoids, terpenes and aromas making them great as food additives and topicals. These oils are able to retain the original amounts of antioxidants, oleic acid, vitamin E, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids that are found naturally in the plants and seeds. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids are generally known to be healthy and

Quality Control- 3rd Party Testing and COA's included. Food Grade, USDA licensed Commercial kitchen, Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services licensed, regulated and approved.
Services/Pricing- We toll process biomass (bucked, stems removed)
Pricing varies depending on desired end product and Biomass quality based on COA's. Pricing ranges from $10.00 to $30.00 a pound.
